Tapomoy Adhikari

Tapomoy Adhikari is an Indian Computer Researcher currently affiliated with Corgnit Research Lab in Bengaluru. His research interests encompass a broad spectrum of fields, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Networks, and Natural Language Processing.

He played a pivotal role in founding Byte Research Lab (formerly Byte Technologies R&D Lab), which is dedicated to research in computer networks, artificial neural network (ANN) and computer hardware. Additionally, he is recently associated with Dycrome, an educational technology company committed to providing quality education to students from diverse backgrounds, fostering their academic and co-curricular development.

Further, Adhikari was previously affiliated with Finessefleet Corporation (India), a not-for-profit educational and technological institution headquartered in Bengaluru. He was instrumental in establishing the Finessefleet Research, where he applied the concept of a computational research lab over the cloud, which set to focus on addressing real-world complex issues through technological advancements, specially with the help of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI).

My research interest includes artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer networks, and others. In recent days, I am exploring artificial general intelligence and computional theory in depth.

  • September, 2024. Presently working on the P vs. NP problem within the domain, Computational Theory, and trying to figure out something novel.
  • July, 2024. Presently workng on the Halting Problem keeping a special focus on AI Safety, to avoid infinite loops in the new-gen AI systems. This may help in designing AI systems which are comparatively more robust and less prone to unintended consequences, than of todays.

Updates

    Commencing April 16th, 2024, I am presently on sabbatical until April 20th, 2026. During this period, all urgent correspondence is to be directed to ps-secy@tapomoy.co.in.

  • 16th April, 2024, Bengaluru, India. I will be on a sabbatical from my professional responsibilities for a period of two years, concluding on April 30th, 2026, to focus on my academic commitments.   • 13th April, 2024, Bengaluru, India. Inaugurated Dycrome, an educational enterprise headquartered in Bengaluru, India, with the primary objective of rendering cost-effective educational services. Commencing its operations with the provision of courses tailored for the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT JEE), Dycrome aims to cater to students across various scholastic tiers, particularly emphasizing foundational preparation aligned with the Indian educational framework.
  • 6th January, 2024, Bengaluru, India. Paper MeloHarmony: Exploring Emotion in Crafting AI-Generated Music with Generative Adversarial Network Powered Harmony, which delves into the convergence of artificial intelligence and music composition by examining the integration of emotion in crafting AI-generated music through GAN-powered harmony, got accepted.
  • 20th December, 2023, Guwahati, India. Paper Design and Development of a Secure and Efficient Authentication System for Mobile Devices, which introduces an innovative authentication system tailored specifically for mobile devices. This system incorporates advanced security measures, including multi-factor authentication and biometric techniques, to overcome the security challenges associated with conventional password, PIN, and token-based authentication methods, got accepted.

         (iii) Regarding spoofed or impersonating accounts operating under the name "Tapomoy" or any of it's officially recognised aliases, it's important to note that any such accounts, other than the notable and self-verified social media accounts of Tapomoy available ( here ), are not endorsed, affiliated, or sanctioned by Tapomoy in any capacity.
